I don't read this series at all so I'm commenting with an unbiased view. It's your write to do whatever you want with your translation, the readers understand that. However, punishing 99% of the readers just because 1 person decides to see if they can profit off of you is clearly disproportionate retribution. The readers can't stop that person from doing anything. They have no power to stop the NTR person. Just my 2 cent.

Yeah I know, and I'm not delete it at first just change it from a post to a page the same with all my other project, you can check it, it's not only monmusu that the post I have delete it but all my project that I have finished translating and sadly I haven't change the link yet so you won't be able access it yet. as for monmusu after I change it to a page someone make a comment told me to thing and announce something befor I do anything and I finally decide to just remove the translation from my blog for good.

Ignore the trolls, you're angry for the right reason.
1) If the guy is just republishing without attribution then he really should attribute and you should be rightfully angry. It depends on the site. Depends on the format. Is it an online reader? Or a blog?
2) If the guy is republishing and intentionally attributing the work to his Own name, then he is an utter ass and the people will throw him out of the community and call him out everytime they see him (where possible)(and only genuine fans would do this).
The people who are your genuine fans know that you are the first translator. So I'm just wondering is it not enough to just 'know' that your readers will back you as the original translator (where possible) and call out the guy who's plagiarizing? Again it really really depends on the site. Who is the guy doing the plagiarizing, and where's he doing it?
And also ignore Brian. digital piracy, or re-publishing, is definitely not the same as misattribution.

ReplyFirst: I agree - VERY Immature of you on how you're handling this. -- Seriously airing dirty laundry on reactions to a knee jerk reaction to a questionable decision like this just ruins your own reputation.
Second: Your lack of communication to your readers & other translators is what brought this around. A simple ETA of "In TL completion some time in July/Aug" would have let everyone know you were still active
Third: You could have registered your projects that you're working on with places like Re-Translations, Japtem, or Baka-Tsuki or any other number of groups
Fourth: The person in question didn't plagiarize your work / steal it in any way, The Translator had linked back to your site and credited you as the source of the translation. However I agree the Man/Woman who's Translating the chapters now should have attempted to contact you if they didn't.

.......I never said about plagiarizing though? well about stealing.... I prefer to say NTR than stealing because it have difference nuance, and yeah he didn't contact me.
I'm actually don't care whether you are a donator or not, I always treat my reader equally, the only different you got is a donator in this blog will have a contribution toward supporting the community by donating their money so I can buy the LN where it may be motivated the original author, making me able to translate that light novel, and making the other reader able to read that translation that is the difference, because all the money I got will go toward buying that LN digital copy.

well actually about your donation it's already clarified in your post some way ago(forget which page that just too many for to check every post) and i agree in your donation since your donation goes to LN rather than WN, well its up to Translator about why they need donation for free WN (since i unable to read jap i not have any persuasive force), if i isnt wrong someone buy the raw LN and send it and you more prefer this way that time. in other word many people just like to post a comment without(not completely) read what the post is about
